This luxurious brasserie welcomes its restaurant guests in an Art Nouveau environment in which the original decor has been kept; both the building’s interior and exterior have been classified. Guests can choose to sit either inside, in the intimate yet lavish interior of the Café, or outside on the heated terrace, which is open all year round, to be closer to the city centre’s hustle and bustle. Café Metropole has 80 seats inside and 150 outside, split into two separate terraces in summer.
Particular care is taken to ensure the great reception and service for our dining clients, as well as the quality of the products offered, which is a genuine reason not to fail the standard excellence of Hotel Metropole, to which the brasserie belongs.

Prix trop élevé pour le menu St Valentin. Dessert décevant. Huitres imposées avec l'apéritif alors que tout le monde n'aime pas les huitres. J'espérais voir l'ensemble du décor des salles du rez-de-chaussée de l'hôtel Métropole, alors que le restaurant n'occupe qu'une petite partie. Les plats proposés en dehors du menu st Valentin sont très quelconques; Les vins sont très chers. Par contre, la viande du plat principal était excellente.

Malgré la confirmation de la réservation depuis octobre 2017, nous n'avons pas été informés qu'il n'y aurait pas de service de restaurant, mais seulement un buffet. la personne qui a pris soin de nous a essayé de nous faire un espace mais il n'a pas été éduqué, parce qu'il nous a encadrés sans autorisation et insisté beaucoup sur le prix élevé du buffet comme s'il voulait nous décourager. J'étais un client régulier du Metropol (hôtel et restaurant) dans les années 80 et 90 et pour cette raison j'étais très excité d'emmener ma femme là-bas. mais tout était décevant. Un désastre.

Waiting staff were totally indifferent to our presence and on arrival did not acknowledge that we had a reservation. This was also true for our earlier visit for coffee and drinks before the lunch period. This indifference showed in the time it took to get any attention for an aperitif and when they served the wrong meal to my wife. The correct dish took an extraordinary amount of time to be served. The restaurant was not full during our visit! We noticed during our morning visit that clients sitting in the terrace area outside were having to come into the cafe to get service.
