My experienced started out as positive. Knowing that I was arriving about 20 minutes late with my partner I called the restaurant who said this was not a problem. When I arrived, the host did not have my booking on their flipchart. After 10 minutes we were shown to seats in a crowded area. My table was adjacent to the cash register and booking computer. Although it was early in the evening, the staff seemed far to busy to attend to us promptly. The tap tap tapping of finger nails on the computer was excruciating. I asked to be moved to a quieter position. We were eventually granted this request. We were pleased and like this part of the restaurant much better. However, service was extremely slow. After 2 hours we still had not received our main meals. At this point I asked the waiter. My order was forgotten by the chef. The waiter/ owner told me that she would not have to pay for the 2 Diet Colas's that we ordered. I think it would have been less insulting if she didn't offer any compensation at all. For the price of this meal, with over 2 hours of waiting, the cost was extortionate. I will not be going again.
