le chevreuil n'aime pas le civet
we booked a two night package with game menus. Quality/price relation ok. Rooms ok with nice view into the landscape and to the river. A lot of birds be observed. Kitchen did a good job with savoury dinners and modern style presentation. The pheasant was excellent and the entry plates very good. Only the 'civet du chevreuil was poor. For two persons only 5 small pieces of meat and a lot of sauce. Next day at the table aside the 2 guests got two pots of civet - we, the day before got only one. Nevertheless, we would come again, may be later in the game season, when more 'chevreuil' come to the kitchen.
