Our story,

With Epiphany’s Kitchen, Ghent is given a special address, right in the historic heart of the city. A restaurant that colors outside all lines and where the emphasis is on enjoying together.
The driving force behind Epiphany’s Kitchen is Epiphany Vanderhaeghen, daughter of Belgian fashion designer Kaat Tilley. Epiphany is proud of its roots and you notice that in the interior, among other things. The magical chandeliers of Kaat Tilley help determine the atmosphere of the beautiful building, in harmony with the rough walls, the artistic color palette and the beautiful old panel shutters. She designed the tables herself.
The kitchen is a mischievous mix of comfort food pur sang (snacks to share, pizza and pasta), but with vegetables in the lead. The headstrong chef has a lot of international experience to his credit, including at the one and only Jamie Oliver. In Epiphany’s Kitchen, he experiments with cereal-free pasta and pizza dough based on vegetables such as cauliflower or sweet potato. Even in the cocktails, vegetables are elegantly processed. Nothing can beat veggies! Enthusiasts can order a piece of meat or fish whose origin is checked on ecological and moral grounds.
Epiphany’s Kitchen wants to serve a healthy, rich kitchen that everyone can enjoy without guilt. Whether you are a veggie or not, gluten-intolerant or on a diet: life must be a celebration, with tasty (and ethically justified!) Food.
