Bediening was niet naar behoren. Enkele minute...

Bediening was niet naar behoren. Enkele minuten moeten wachten op een medewerker om naar mijn tafel te gaan bij een bijna lege zaak. Harde muziek van een live zangeres in de zaak. Je wilt eten en samenzijn met je gasten. Niet naar een concert. Achteraf gezeten waar de bediening rommelig was en geen aandacht had voor de gasten. Gasten naast ons werden ook zowat vergeten het is dat de man de ober nog net kon roepen. Anders was hij alweer weggeweest. Opdienen van eten kan beter. We kregen wel de vol au vent. Maar geen bestek en pas later de begeleidende frieten die lauw waren. Overall. Waarschijnlijk een goede plek om wat te drinken als je de tijd neemt. Maar er zijn zoveel betere restaurants, tavernes en bistro's in Antwerpen dat je deze kunt overslaan.

Unique ambiente and so worth a visit while in Antwerp. The food was fine, drinks menu with plenty of choice, service attentative. The only flaw was that we wanted to book a table in the morning in person but the staff only directed us to the online booking tool not knowing which tables would be available. Would go again for its quirkiness, loved the live gig that day.
