About this restaurant
Once an inn for weary travelers, this establishment has regained its glory as an authentic "estaminet" for all those who wish to quench their thirst or hunger, while enjoying a piece of history far older than Belgium. Under the cornice, between two windows, Mother Spider has been watching over us since 1762, bringing us good luck. And if you lend an ear, you might hear the gentle rustle of the little arm of the Senne that flowed here until the 19th century. Or perhaps it's the last sighs coming from the 16th-century Chartreuse, once located just across the street?

Delicious dinner. I tried the Flemish stew. A truly peaceful place. I also really appreciated the music selection. I returned the next evening.

Qualité décevante. Le steack n’était ni tendre ni goûteux. La sauce archiduc pas terrible non plus. La saucisse et le stoemp en revanche étaient bons.
