Samouraï has been a culinary landmark of Brussels since 1974. Razor-sharp precision and rich flavours embody the authentic Japanese cuisine, depicted by a varied menu of sushi and sashimi, together with table preparations like sukiyaki. The chef steams the shiitake with shrimp-flavoured pasta and then flanks it with a ginger and soy stock and with fried ciboule onion and shiso leaves, creating a harmony that is both subtle and distinctive. Très décevant. Service de basse qualité: la dame pressée qui s’occupait de nous avec impatience ne débarrasse pas la table des entrées et apporte les plats sur une table sale. Puis dans le même mouvement elle enlève les assiettes des entrées sans nettoyer la table. Nourriture aux sauces trop sucrée, malgré l’allergie aux champignons annoncée , mes deux plats en contenaient. Malgré la demande de bougies d’anniversaire, oubliées ! Bref , last time.
