More than a word, Habibi is a hearty declaration of love
If you've ever been to Lebanon, you've certainly already heard this typical Arabic expression over and over. Indeed, no matter how and who we love, we use and overuse it to express love or familiarity. So habibi, take a seat while enjoying a cup of Teta's (grandma in Lebanese) freshly brewed tea and listen to our story.
Habibi is all about senses and childhood memories of family reunions. The smell of fresh spices, the taste of typical products such as tahini or Mann'oushes, one of our special treats and even, the sound of noisy feasts shared with our beloved ones. You get it, at Habibi we share love as we share food: in its most authentic way, but always with a local twist.
Inspired by our origins and our atypical and passionate families, our biggest will is to pass on this tasteful legacy and emotions throughout our revisited Lebanese dishes/recipes. So habibi, come along with us and enjoy the trip.
