Antwerp, centre of the diamond and fashion industry… and fine gastronomy!

Antwerp is situated in the north of Belgium, at the borders of the Schelde river. It’s connected to the North Sea through the (Dutch) Westerschelde.

Antwerp offers a variety of restaurants, located in the city centre as well as just outside town. Many hotels are at walking distance from the various points of interest: the central market place, the city hall, the “Steen” (Stone), the “Brabo fountain” and the shopping street “Meir”.

Visitors who like to enjoy the wonderful view on the Schelde, must book a table in a restaurant at the riverside. The restaurants are often booked by business men, but Antwerp is also the ideal city to spend a romantic weekend, for a cultural city trip or simply to go shopping.

Next to the trendy cafés and bars, the city of the famous painter Rubens has a lot of restaurants that offer typical Belgian food or delicious foreign dishes. The 19 museums make Antwerp also a true paradise for culture lovers.

Antwerp is easy accessible by train (through the Central Station), by car, by plane (the airport of Deurne) or by boat.
