Lang wachten tot er iemand kwam. Bijna niemand...

Lang wachten tot er iemand kwam. Bijna niemand spreekt Engels, alleen Frans. Alleen de obers in stropdas (managers?). Als gevolg daarvan gaat er veel fout (‘diet coke’ wordt niet begrepen dus gewone gekregen, drinken besteld niet gekomen. Sommige personeelsleden lijken vriendelijk (lachen naar je) ondanks dat ze je niet goed begrijpen, anderen kijken chagrijnig. Het is algemeen bekend dat in Wallonië slecht Engels cq een andere taal dan Frans gesproken wordt maar het is toch vreemd dat personen die in de horeca/toerisme werken de meest elementaire begrippen niet kunnen verstaan in het Engels? Het grote voordeel is de speelhoek voor kinderen, zowel binnen als buiten. Verder ademt dit restaurant en Valk hotel niet bepaald de sfeer uit je gewend bent van Van der Valk hotels/restaurants (en we hebben er al heel veel bezocht door de jaren).

Comparativement à d’autres brunch Vandervalk je l’ai trouvé moins bien. Espace buffet restreint, buffet moins garnis, eau non comprise 1l d’eau 10€ Espace enfant vraiment au top
