About this restaurant
The Branche d'Olivier, a village house in Uccle on the edge of the Kinsendael Nature Reserve, has a rural feel. You have to pinch yourself to convince yourself that just a few blocks away the noise and fury of the city are back. The brand has stood the test of time without ever faltering. Not for nothing is the hyper-coherent approach far from fashionable. The setting has old-fashioned paneling and tiled floors, making it feel like a Parisian restaurant. With "Bistro gourmand" as its subtitle, this is an address that puts its cards on the table. It follows the spirit of culinary tradition with hearty brasserie dishes. True to the codes of the genre, the menu offers suggestions every day - as well as an aged cheese as it should be. The menu reflects the seasons, the market and, above all, the inspiration of the chef, Jean-Claude Demurger, a skilled roaster and saucier. Wine lovers are also in for a treat, with more than a hundred beautifully calibrated references promising unbeatable gastronomic pairings.

A ne pas rater

Excellent accueil, très bon service, endroit chaleureux. Nous avons choisi de la viande: il faut aller et goûter, tout simplement. Peut être les prix ne sont pas très démocratiques mais je crois que ça vaut la peine.
